Saban does, too, but when their Apgar scores are too low, he rescinds their offer and finds the next best baby.

    • I heard that, in the case of a potential legacy player, the mom will get a medical redshirt.

        • Haven't seen anything at mgoblog related to any of the recruits who made or did not make the spring game. Anyone have any info?

          • Treadwell was there. I would be surprised if he isn't M.

            • We'll hear more from the recruits after they are off campus (recruits can't talk to reporters on campus). Most of them are on their way home.

              • Christian LaCouture SDE (4*, Texas) likely will make my recruiting board. He has M in his top 3, along with LSU and Nebraska... Was committed to Texas A&M for awhile... Plans a return visit this summer/fall...

                • Too bad Lynch wants to return to Florida... he would have been a good get.

                  • Lynce wanted to go back to FSU, Fisher wouldn't let him or even take his calls. He decommitted from there before committing to ND... He actually committed to ND twice and they only got him for one year; story is his GF is pregnant...

Very glad to see him gone, he was going to be a strong NFL talent. Poor Domers...

Recommend hitting up the usual spots for recruiting info; I'm going to be pretty busy today, MGoBlog of course, Tremendous is excellent for recruiting info, Touch the Banner is very good and Maize & Brew is solid too. I think I have all of those links on the first page except for Maize & Brew. I'll get a link to Maize & Brew on the first page real soon:

                    • The best, IMO, OSU "insider" had a thread on Lynch transferring months ago, and thought OSU was a real possibility (his mother is living in Ohio at the moment). But, she's moving back to Florida, so it's definitely a Florida school. Kid is really good.

                      • I'm surprised no one posted that Michigan has 11 commits in the newly released ESPN 150. Khalid Hill is the only three star.

                        • ESPN should rank this class really high; regardless it's likely worthy of being a top 2-3 class everywhere, with an expected strong finish if they hit more than miss on recruits like Levenberry, Isaac, Treadwell, Poggi, Vanderdoes, Cravens, Fuller, Massington, etc...

Its already a very good recruiting class and in the works to be Tremendous.

                          • EspnU. Heh. Their Ohio ratings are silly. Thomas as 5 in Ohio is just awful.

                            • Also -- their ratings very favorable for OSU. The Buckeyes have really good chance to have at least 6 in the top 75 and maybe 8 or 9. But, lemme tell ya, Woodard ain't the 12th best player in the country (and best in OSU's class). Hackenberg ain't the best pro-style QB in the country. Conley isn't the 2nd best player in M's recruiting class and Dawson sure as f'n shit ain't the best OL in M's recruiting class.

I'll stick with Scout and Rivals and maybe 247.

                              • Christian Hackenberg isn't even the best pro-style QB in the state of Virginia-- according to every Virginia observer I trust that I've seen weigh in on the subject, Ryan Burns is. Hackenberg might not even be the second-best pro-style QB in the state, although I suppose you could characterize Bucky Hodges as a dual-threat(Rivals probably does, even though he doesn't run all that much).
