I suppose that if Hoke requires that a "verbal" means no more visits to other schools, then when UM says there are 5 openings and a kid takes one of those openings, the kid has the right to rely on Hoke.

Most likely Pocic will have decided on a destination long before signing day even if M has a scholarship left for a BRA...

9 OL in back-to-back classes should be more than enough.

Never heard of Conley, WM, until today. Obviously, he plays for a good program which plays decent competition.

Gedeon LB is visiting this weekend apparently (some are saying commit watch), any thoughts on him? I don't see a decision for him anytime soon as I thought he had other visits lined up this spring.

Just read a nice article at rivals on Michigans targets in the top 100. Levenberry, Isaac, Treadwell, O'Daniel, McCray.

3 of them have declared M a 'favorite', all LB'ers. M is a presumed favorite or was once the favorite for Treadwell. M is in as good position as anyone for Isaac.

Ty Isaac is being pretty tight-lipped about his favorites, but many feel he's leaning to Michigan. I don't know why.

But, he'd be a great fit in the new offense. Big kid with good speed.

Supposedly Isaac doesn't want to play in a spread. His top 3 is USC, ND & M...

Thought to be a M vs ND battle early but I think USC is in it too. Its easy to see why he might be a M lean based on his criteria (prefers spread) but that is conjecture. I like where M is at with him.

Meant doesn't like the spread... M & USC has certainly pro style, ND is certainly a spread. M is in a better spot than ND given that one criteria out of a possible twenty others...

re: Isaac... Believe he visits in the next month (or so), we'll know a lot more about where he stands after his visits to ND & M which are both relatively soon.

I don't think Gedeon will commit, WM. As a player, I really like him. Very athletic and pretty good speed. I think I even said awhile ago that I thought he was the best Ohio player M was in on. I still think that's true.

That said, some people seem to really, really like Smith, too. Personally, I'm way skeptical of his competition. But, I think I'm in a very small minority on that point, and it doesn't include, fwiw, UFM/OSU.

Agree with talent as I said before hand, he's (Gedeon) slated for a few visits before he decides. I'd be very surprised if he decided awfully soon.

Looked for some Gedeon highlights and was pretty impressed, bigger than expected, possible MLB down the road. Good closing speed and pretty adept at shedding blockers.

Yeah, I think he is MLB - his speed and athleticism would be really good in middle.

McCray is supposedly in. Also heard Smith will commit in a few weeks. No surprise.
