I don't see how Kozan could go wrong with Michigan. By the time that he is a redshirt frosh, his only competition will be a low 3* guy who has only one more year of experience. Based on the depth chart, I'd rather have Kozan if I had to choose between him and Diamond. Speculation is that Kozan is waiting on Diamond, and will go to Michigan if Diamond doesn't. Seems weird to me, since they don't play the same position, but that's the speculation that I am seeing.Last edited by Hannibal; February 3, 2012, 08:38 AM.

Listening to Hoke, it's pretty clear he knows there's a problem with depth and even though this was a class intended to build it and build it with quality, it's still short in some key areas, even the ones he focused on (OL and DL).
Maybe WM can add to this discussion.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

serious question talent. Do you think coaching staffs look at rivals and scout to find information or watch film? Or even to see what other schools have offered the athlete. It does seem like those sites would be helpful for them.
Sam Webb's recruiting roundup this morning was pretty pessimistic about DiamondDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

yeah, it's true ...Hoke pretty much says he has no issues with Meyer's recruiting practices.
I am starting to think talent is right, Meyer's arrival spells a bigger problem for all the other B1G teams than M.
Meyer and Hoke are both aggressive and good recruiters. I don't think Meyer will win every Ohio recruiting battle with Hoke, but he will win many. Overall, together, Meyer and Hoke will hurt the rest of B1G, and I suspect that the gap between the top and middle of the conference that had vanished will start to reemerge, and we will see frequent M and Ohio battles for the top until PSU and Neb can get their houses back in order. I think Dantonio and Bielema's recent outcries only support the fact that they see the writing on the wall as well.
In a way, order is finally being restored to the world.

What is uncertain, I think is what kind of gap will appear between Ohio and M.
Based on the last several recruiting classes, Ohio clearly brought a superiorly talented team to Ann Arbor in 2011, but still lost. I thought the talent gap would close this year, but Meyer did a pretty amazing job. Based on review of recruiting classes he had at Florida, one would expect that trend to continue. That would pretty much mean that on average, Ohio will always be more talented than 'M'. How many times will a less talented Hoke-led M team be able to topple a more talented Pope-led team ... we'll find out soon.
