I tend to think he's going to osu, but since Mattison may have the last word, M has a fightin' chance! I guess we'll know for sure in 9 days. Unless he pulls a pryor.
Reeves, I see as about 40% Michigan. With Williams going to OlieO, that may have nullified any advantage Michigan had at the time. Its going to be hard for Reeves to go to Ann Arbor while his pal is in Columbus.
I have no read at all on Diamond (thanks for clarification, DennisT) other than Pipkens (kay jewelers tweet) which may mean absolutely nothing... No idea where he lands, he doesn't tip his hand at all; early on he was very pro Michigan but that was a long time ago...
My best guesses: I like M's chances on Garnett & Grant... Reeves is a coin-flip vs Ohio, not optimistic on Diamond and Kozan likely goes elsewhere...
So if Kozan signs with Michigan, he'll be the solution to our needs at that position---but if he doesn't sign, do any of the other verbals or targets have any experience there? Which one(s) is/are most likely to get a look at the Center position? And is Khoury our center for the '12 season, or are there other viable options?
Jack Miller from '11 is a center, potential starter as a redshirt freshman if Khoury can't snap the ball. Need for a center in '12 is small if Miller is as good as hoped...
Competition for Kozan is Auburn and Iowa; Auburn think they have him.
According to questionable PSU source, M will get Reeves, too. That wouldn't surprise me in the least. M has recruited him much longer and, IMO, harder -- I think they want him more, and it shows. And I think Reeves knows it.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
We really need a center, unless we want to have a position switcher or true freshman backing up Miller in 2013. And that's assuming that the low 3* former defensive end is actually good.
