Bryce Underwood is NOT at the Big House BBQ this weekend, as he originally planned. He went to LSU's recruiting event instead.

Not sure what to read into that. Is he more interested in LSU? Is this maybe a diss on Michigan?

Maybe he decided to take in LSU's event because he can see Michigan anytime.

It'd be nice to keep this kid in Michigan.

Yea, NIL could be the difference. M is not fully committed to it yet. They've paid lip service it, but I haven't really noticed anything like what other teams are doing.

That being said, I think Underwood is SEC bound anyway. Michigan's recent half NC trophy doesn't hold up well when compared to Alabama, LSU and Georgia.

About a month ago I said I expected Bryce Underwood will end up in the SEC as the NIL difference from B1G to the SEC is far more dramatic to a player of his caliber/position than say an elite offensive guard or linebacker. Everything else being equal, this should be a Michigan vs Ohio State battle for his commitment.

University of Kentucky recruiting sites seem to believe that they are about to flip the twin brothers committed to Michigan, Jerod and Jacob Smith. The Smith brothers will be playing their senior year at Corbin (KY) High School, and will only be about 90 minutes from the UK campus in Lexington. Apparently the boys both had interest at one time in UK, but UK didn't have the interest in them. Now that has changed, since both brothers have improved drastically. We'll see if M can hang on to these two commitments.

Underwood was back A2 for the (RichRod) BBQ today, yea he has been here so many times- he knows he can come and go when he pleases. SEC bound I suspect
