Rudolph is ranked anywhere from 290 to 305, depending on which recruiting service you respect the most. He's kind of light at 6'3" and 205, which is almost Safety size, rather than DL.
And of course, whether he actually signs a LOI remains to be seen. Nobody who is currently after him will stop based on his announcement.

He’s a good get with a nice ceiling. He’s the kind of kid HARBAUGH!!! loves to stockpile. Lower 4* with high ceiling. Get 8-12 of those kids and play the numbers game—enough will hit that high ceiling that it pays off.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Here’s what Rudolph’s commitment means for the Wolverines:
- Rudolph becomes Michigan’s fifth prospect from Ohio in the 2024 class and the second that holds an Ohio State offer, joining four-star running back Jordan Marshall, a top-100 recruit. The Wolverines have landed nine Ohio prospects the past two cycles, with Clinkscale leading the charge in the area.
Rudolph’s prospect rating is currently 90.59, but he was a borderline five-star in November with a rating of 94.66. He will look to climb the rankings once again during his senior season facing tougher competition in Florida.
- Rudolph’s commitment was an important one for Michigan after it watched two of its top targets commit elsewhere Saturday. The big blow was five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott giving a surprise verbal pledge to the Buckeyes, while four-star cornerback Terhyon Nichols, who also is from Cincinnati, committed to Kentucky.
- With Rudolph on board, the Wolverines’ 2024 class is getting close to capacity. The 25 commits matches the number of players Michigan signed last cycle, but it could take about 30 this year, especially with how many players are expected to graduate or leave for the NFL after this season.

He's a project with good talent. He'll have to put on weight if he wants to play the DL. Otherwise, he's going to have to change positions. We'll see how his senior year at HS goes. Getting his signature on a LOI is the next trick. Others recruiting him won't stop just because he's announced. Key will be to see if he starts taking visits again. If he does, then so long, he's gone. If not, then we may actually see him in uniform at Michigan in '24."in order to lead America you must love America"
