This just popped into my Facebook feed: A kid named Jordan Marshall (RB) from Cincinnati Moeller has committed to Michigan.

Class of 2024. He had OSU on his list but I can't tell whether they offered him or not.

He's supposedly a 4-star according to 24/7. Some of you recruiting nuts may know more about him.

His film looks decent, but I don't know what kind of opposition he was playing against.

OSU wanted Marshall and this is not a surprise.

I've done some more checking on him, and I guess he's pretty good. Cincinnati Moeller turns out a lot of very good players, and this kid could be another. I noticed some film on him where he has similar cutting ability to Corum's. He wasn't getting caught from behind. But again, that could be bad opposition.

Four star that OSU wanted. His family are all OSU fans. That's liable to cause him some consternation.

We won't win all those wars, but it'd be nice if we won a few more. I'd like to think the last two M v OSU games may have gotten us some positive vibes.

He's a good RB. His rating, IMO, is about right. M is also in on a kid from Texas that is, IMO, better. Not sure how/if this affects it. I think OSU is reruiting 3-4 RBs with Marshall being one of them (and they would have easily accepted his commitment).

For a lot of reruits in this new era of nonsense, I say a verbal is nice, but wait until December. I don't think that's the case with Marshall. He's been leaning M for a long time and I don't see him flipping -- and, if for some unlikely reason he did, I'd be surprised if it was to Ohio State.

For now anyway this was a nice gut punch to RFD on the trail. Getting the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Ohio. Seen some osu podcasts last night and they were almost 'Sky is Falling' mood. lol I guess osu was going hard for him since around October. Marshall doesn't have blazing speed, more of a bruiser who can make the cuts and carry the load of carries.

Really like to get the kid from Texas (Tatum) He said nothing has changed with Michigan after the Wolverines landed Marshall. His interest in the Wolverines remains high (seen some crystal balls for Michigan still), we will see.

I do remember voting for "Goby" to speak on behalf of Buckeye fans.

Marshall is a good player. But, eh...it's fine.

Now, M has a real chance with West and there is no other replacement for him AND he's a CB. THAT would be a huge, huge get for M and it's certainly possible.

I think and I know it's a long way off, this could be a Top 10 class. HARBAUGH and this staff are rolling right now, lots of positive talk coming out right now.

This commitment comes at a good time. We're likely losing both Corum and Edwards after the '23-'24 season, so if he comes in for '24, that'd give us Cabana and Marshall at RB. As of now, that is. Its tough keeping a kid committed in today's world, and someone could still snatch him away.
