Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

This is a sticky topic.

I have issues with lying to players. I don't have issues with pointing out obvious flaws in another program. For example, if the program has a coach that just up and quit on his last team for no good reason, well, that might be something that the kid should think about.

Wow, so some here have no problem will negative recruiting and don't mind having thug players who deal drugs or beat their girlfriends. Selling memorabilia is where the line is drawn. Because it's immoral.
This is intensely hypocritical because I can't recall a time this board wasn't pissed at negative recruiting of one kind or another. From the "inaccurate rumors" that Carr had health issues and wanted to retire (which turned out to be true) to those being used against Rich Rod.
Honestly, it doesn't matter how often Rich Rod or even Lloyd makes it clear they think Tressel's a good guy, Michigan fans know better. They have deeper insights.

I'm with Hannibal on this one. The Meyer Medical Report should be updated in Ann Arbor on a regular basis and disseminated strategically via people for whom there is plausible deniability. And the strategy should be to continue to point out the thuggishness down there. Dredge up stuff like Stonum's recruitment next year; make it a narrative for recruits.

Some names left on the recruiting board;
RB: Bri'onte Dunn & Wes Brown
OL: Jordan Diamond & Joshua Garnett
TE: Pharaoh Brown & Taylor McNamara
CB: Yuri Wright
WR: Stefon Diggs, Jordan Payton & Amara Darboh
M will take 2 WR's and they only have 5 scholarships left; that means they can only fill 3 spots among RB, OL, TE & CB...
I'm pretty high on Wes Brown RB (4*), getting him would help with Stefon Diggs WR (5*) too. One issue with him is he's a Canes fan and doesn't seem fazed by upcoming sanctions. He seems likely to be a Cane but M is clearly #2 though it could be a distant #2 unless Countess & Diggs can recruit him... Countess has had better luck recruiting his former teammate, Stefon Diggs. M is clearly in his top group but M has tons of competition for the 5-star...
Jordan Payton (4*) seemed destined to be a Wolverine before his trip to South Bend. He came away putting ND right up there with the Wolverines. Competition is thought to be a M vs ND race but some believe there is a chance he stays close to home and ends up at Cal... I'm not one of the Payton detractors, he's very talented and skilled. He's not a freak of an athlete like Diggs but he's got terrific hands, plenty athletic and pretty polished as a receiver...
Recent recruiting trip was huge for M for Joshua Garnett (I'll call him a 4.5*), M is in his top 2 and the main competition is Stanford... In other OL news, Kyle Kalis OL deservingly was moved upto a 5* at rivals. He'll be ready to play as a true freshman and probably will be in the 2-deep sometime in '12... Jordan Diamond OL (4*) once thought to be a lock to the Wolverines is looking pretty closely at other situations; OSU, Wisky, ND, Auburn, etc. In the next week or two, Diamond is expected to name a top 3 or 4...
Yuri Wright CB (5*) still holds that his top two are M & Rutgers. Its good to see another team hasn't joined the competition for him, he held M as a childhood favorite... He's in the process of taking his official visits this month and next...
It'll be interesting to see if Taylor McNamara TE (4*) ends up taking his last official visit to M. That'll tell a lot about the Pharaoh Brown TE (4*) situation.Last edited by WM Wolverine; November 30, 2011, 10:04 AM.
