Players felt pretty entitled under Brady Hoke. Legacy kids and previous starters thought they couldn't lose their positions. Harbaugh changed that. Seems the current grumbling is about possibly losing your spot on the depth chart due to injury (Hudson and Solomon). He has always said you had to compete every day.

I'm still wondering about DT Aubrey Solomon. He was 5*, but he wasn't playing very much in his sophomore year. He seemed to be behind Kemp and Marshall. I'd guess this is why he transferred, and reflects the fact that Solomon wasn't living up to the hype. This could be sour grapes thinking on my part, but Solomon certainly wasn't dominant against Ohio State or any other team this year. If he was injured, then that's a stupid reason to transfer, IMO.Comment

So, we have these super talented dudes coming from HS looking to enter CFB training programs that are really good, get bigger and stronger, get coached up by NFL experienced coaches, play a bit of college ball and improve their NFL draft stock, right? Nothing wrong with that unless you're doing it with only that in mind and not understanding Michigan's football culture.
