  • Is there any confirmation that Little is indeed coming this weekend with the Shay Patterson contingent?

    Comment

    • No.

Patterson, S Anderson and WR Jefferson are confirmed visitors.

Also being reported that Ole Miss has lifted restrictions for transfers. Previously, Ole Miss had barred transfers to some SEC schools. This is not a particularly good thing for M as SEC programs are going to be looking to raid the Ole Miss cupboard too.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Nobody has said they're coming to M. Of all of the three visitors Patterson is probably a shade better than 50/50. I wouldn't put odds on Jefferson or Anderson.

Still Harbaugh et. al. are striking when the iron is hot. I like that. But there are other schools targeting any number of guys from programs with coaching changes.

ASU 2018 OT, Jarrett Paterson has reportedly decommitted from that program and M is in on him.

          • Anderson had lunch with Harbaugh today. No idea if that’s significant or not.

            • I hope he ordered milk and a steak.

How good is Anderson? Safety play wasn't terrible, and we have two first-year starters who will certainly improve, but I'm open to new guys. Still value the OT more than all of them combined though.

Shea Patterson would be third-best "recruit" Michigan has ever signed; Deontay Anderson would be 33rd. In Harbaugh era, Patterson would have second-highest ranking, Anderson would be sixth-highest

                      • Patterson flashes with the deep ball and slants; hosed by his receivers a couple of times. Shitty OL play/blitz pick-up, drive killing mistakes.

Sound familiar? Reminds a bit of O'Korn ..... same style just better at it.

The things I liked: Quick release, appears to make his reads and check-downs well, sees the field when he breaks the pocket, excellent pocket awareness.

                        • Two quick comments.

First, with this "hardship" stuff -- is Patterson living in Toledo? He went to HS in Texas and transferred to IMG. He seems like he's from Toledo in the same way HARBAUGH!!! is. Did his family move back there or something?

Second, this can't be good news re Peters.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
                          Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                          Comment

                          • Third, snarkier comment. If Ole Miss brazenly bought recruits then M is now recruiting kids that were willing to be brazenly bought. And those kids now have a choice. I'm assuming they'll all have a come to jesus moment and change their wayward ways *if* they come to M. If they go anywhere else, well, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

It doesn't mean anything re Peters.

                              • Interesting. I would have thought a 3rd year player should be ready to play QB. They're bringing in a guy who is going to start in place of Peters for potentially 2 years.
