My sense is the playing field is shifting a bit. Maybe wishful thinking but if M is in the conversation for a playoff berth at the end of the season and the NFL draft goes well for M's entires this year, the stage is going to be set for a very good recruiting class. It's not just Harbugh either. M seems to have found a closer in Chris Partridge that will challenge the challengers in a recurring contest.

M's class will be a consistent 18-22 recruits going forward...
Quality should stay at the level of '17 recruiting class; 4 & 5 stars the norm with some 3-stars mixed in that the coaching staff likes more than the recruiting services.
Well it's time to revv up the investigative machine. Thank you, AA, for showing us the need to get out of our own media bubble and be skeptical. I would be horrified if we were expecting to increase our recruiting footprint in the south and yet making a mockery of their finest cultural export. That would hurt our recruiting goals as well as the values, history and inclusive spirit of the university.
