I have nothing on Harris. His interest in M is legitimate which means he gets along with HARBAUGH!!!! M can offer him immediate playing time. At Alabama he'd be part of the stable. Alabama is more likely to win, though, and TBs who wait their turn at Alabama end up in the Heisman conversation.
But, honestly, all of that is secondary. It's about comfort and relationships. I don't know how many times he's been to Tuscaloosa or how often he interacts with Alabama's recruits. So, I really don't have a read on this one. My default is that the team with the verbal is in a better position. The kid has already envisioned himself in the program and feels good about it. But that's not much to go on.
Alabama survived a Dylan Moses visit to see the Ogre, though. I'd say that was probably as dangerous as Harris OVing to M.
Also, the M "insiders" are more or less saying 50/50 which is "insiderspeak" for we don't fucking know.
Harris is an EE so his decision is probably made. He'll announce it in the next couple weeks, but I have no doubt it's done. It's not "50/50".

Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
If/when all of those guys announce for M, that will give them 25 commits on rivals with an average of 3.76. I'm pretty sure that would be the highest average that we have ever had there.
