Media coverage in Maryland/DC and Jersey/NYC, along with annual bouts against rivals Ohio & Pennsylvania are a boon. Leaves M shutout of Chicago and could hurt recruiting in Illinois and Chicago. Rutgers athletic department isn't of B10 quality but its facilities and athletics are trending up with its recent success in football. Hopefully the move to the B10 results in them investing their new B10 money in itself...
I didn't feel much connection with rivalries against Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Purdue, NW. Nebraska would've been a nice rivalry to build and I liked the Illini rivalry but probably only because I have family from Illinois who I could talk smack too.2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR
