    • Did you actually mean ``featureless''? Cause over here we've got a few lakes...

      • Pretty much entropy, except for Ukrane, but Delaney has already had discussions with them about bringing them into the B1G for the BTN.

            • I wonder if Delaney's ambitions were screwed today by the ACC adding Louisville?

              • I would imagine he's pleased with Rutgers, Maryland regardless of anyone else's moves...

I see a lot of ACC schools waiting to see if the B10/SEC call. Timing has to be right and I highly doubt the B10 wants to be the ACC killer and be the one who makes the next move. The 'big' ACC football schools (FSU, Clemson, VT, Miami) that would crack the core of the ACC (NC, Duke, NC State) apart imo are likely waiting for SEC/B10 invites and will take some time before they settle for the Big XII, that is if they even are willing to settle...

I don't expect any movement soon (at the BCS level) and unsure they will be any at all; the B10 and SEC are pretty solid at 14 and the schools who want to leave the ACC might not see the Big XII as their ideal destination.

                • But the B1G is going to be the ACC killer. Everybody says they took Rutgers and Maryland with bigger, ACC-related, ideas in mind. I'd rather get this wrapped up fast.

                  • The B10 doesn't want the blood on its hands and the schools that would break-up the ACC (FSU, Clemson, VT & Miami) the B10 doesn't really want. B10 isn't the next to move...

I don't see major movement any time soon as the deadline for conferences to exit is in June. There isn't the incentive to make moves now and settle for the Big XII when those schools really want to be in the SEC. I don't see this wrapping up soon.

                    • Why would anyone leave the ACC for the Big12?

                        • Adding Maryland & Rutgers and then coming up empty on UNC or UVA or Notre Dame or anyone else would be pretty disappointing.

                          • re: expansion...

Sounds like NC has basically told the B10 no (for now) and they (their fans on messages boards are 10:1 SEC vs B10, which don't understand the CIC portion of the B10) prefer the SEC regardless. They currently border the SEC and not the B10 and before the Maryland addition, they were a long ways from even bordering the B10...

That explains B10 rumors of preferring GT over say NC. Lots of population (tv sets) in northern Virginia, I'd personally prefer a border state (Missouri) over GT. Here are my pods:

*Pod C: Neb, Iowa, Wisky, Minn
*Pod A: OSU, Missouri, Illinois & Indiana
*Pod B: Michigan, MSU, NW & Purdue
*Pod D: PSU, Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia

Rotation of Pod A vs C/D and Pod B vs D/C. You play everybody twice every 4 years when you play 8 games, 3 vs pod, 4 vs other pod plus you'd need to include a rivalry game vs any other pod if needed. 9 games I think gets pretty likely with 16 members.

                            • Pod D looks awfully weak if PSU goes dormant from its massive scholarship losses.
