If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

"in order to lead America you must love America"

    • Guess I should prepare to see Minnesota, Iowa, Huskerz, Northwestern, etc. even less

      • Not much of a loss other than the Cornhuskers. Should help you guys recruit the east coast (Jersey, Maryland) if true. Two stats that imo are underrated in terms of talent.

        • If this really comes to pass then move Illinois, Purdue, and Wisconsin to a new West division. Michigan and Sparty to the East with OSU, PSU, Maryland, Rutgers, and Indiana.

          • The new 'west' would absolutely hate the new setup, they'd play their rivals but wouldn't get the teams that fill stadiums; Ohio, M, PSU, etc. All the media and attention would be lopsided to the 'east' imo...

As a M fan, I'd be for it as long as there is no cross-division rival as imo there wouldn't need to be one.

            • We're inevitably going to be stuck in the same division as the two new schools and I'd rather it not be just us, PSU, and Wisky with four traditional cupcakes. And meanwhile almost never play Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Sparty. I'm a fan of several of those road trips.

              • Fucking ridiculous. If this is the shit Delaney serves up, he can GFH.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
                Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                • I agree. This is a stupendously bad case of overthinking...doubly so when having passed on Missou and Pitt.

                  • Gives Penn State some eastern "rivals" and expands the BTN into two populous states with a fair amount of football talent.

On the field, I think it sucks.

                      • If it happens, it's an airstrike against the ACC and Notre Dame. If Maryland gets out without paying the ridiculous $50 million buyout, Florida State may be on the phone with the Big12. Suddenly the ACC is a lot less stable and Notre Dame is questioning its move.

A$M has a big following. Good ratings for their games

They are looking at tv sets and having a bigger presence in both the NYC and DC markets. I'm not wild about it, but I'm guessing those markets would be a big deal in the 2017 renegotiation with ABC or Fox.

                              • And NYC can vice a shit about either team. Maryland has a crap following. It is dumb.
