I know it helps in the BCS hunt (not this year) but I don't really like the B1G Championship game. I'd rather go back to having no divisions at this point. Maybe that will change when two teams that have equal conference records and that haven't faced each other in the regular season meet in the title game.

Agree. With the current BCS, and even the future proposed 4-team BCS, CCG's are an important determining point for placement.

The Big 12 needs to get back to 12 teams so they can have a CCG again.

Well KSU is glad (now) they don't have one. They beat Baylor and Texass and they are in.

I thought that was the whole hub-bub about having a minimum of 12 teams in a conference, etc ....
