      • I just read the first 10 pages of that Grand Jury report on Sanduskey. So sickened by it that I couldn't read on thru the rest.

Clearly, though, after reading that portion---no way should McQueary continue on in any capacity at PSU. Unf'nbelievable that he didn't step in and stop Sanduskey when he walked in on the rape of that boy.

So far, the only decision regarding McQueary----and this was announced by the PSU BOT within the last hour or two---is that he won't be (for his protection!?!) allowed to coach or even be at the game vs. Nebraska this Saturday. C'mon---who the f***are they trying to kid here???

        What a sordid mess

        • The only thing I can say about McQueary not doing something in the moment--I can't even being to imagine how I would have reacted if, say, I had played football at Michigan, then become a GA, and one day walked in on Moeller or Carr or another Michigan staffer than I had been close to doing that. I would like to think that I would have stopped it, but I suspect I might have gone into shock.

I still think he HAD to call the police once he had gotten his wits about him. But I can see how he could have been shocked to the point of inaction in the moment.

            • Right, that was all that I was saying. I'm not saying he shouldn't have reported the incident in full to the police. I'm just saying it is really easy to sit at home and say you would have acted differently in the moment when the truth is that most people have no idea how they would respond in a shocking situation like that, especially when the person committing the crime is someone who coached you and who you respect, and is the best friend of your boss.

                    • sparty just booted a 48-yd FG with 5:11 left in the game, lead now 37-21. Iowa needs a quick score and 2-pt conversion, then probably an onside kick. Not likely, hawkeyes don't look capable

                      • forgot to mention---Purdue blocked tPCoC's PAT in the last couple of minutes to preserve a 20-20 tie, now in OT. GO BOILERS!

And UNL just about to knock off PSU 17-14, less than a minute to go, with nits just taking over on downs at their own 28

                            • Neb, PSU, MSU & all 8-2... Wisky is 7-2 and M is 7-2 before playing the Illini....

Lots of mediocre in the B10, nobody dominant. B10 needs M & OSU to be dominant again.
