  • Lost in all this is the (yet another) cheap shot with the helmet to helmet hit on Ball, as well as the facemask grab as he's falling down.

Only chance for the win is by taking out the opponent's best players.

    Well played, sparty

    • I sure hope Michigan State loses, because I'd like to see college football represented by programs with greater integrity...

      • I'm a State fan, and I don't particularly like Michigan (big surprise), but I never felt it necessary to watch Michigan and root against them at every turn.

Probably because Michigan is a well-respected, class program, whereas sparty is, well, you can see if you take your green goggles off.

          • I've always rooted for Michigan State. My big brother went there and it was always a cool place in my book. But the idiocy of Dantonio and company is embarassing. I hope Michigan State flames out sooner rather than later, so that a program with greater integrity can rise from its ashes...

            • No, because when they don't play each other, I root for Michigan teams.

IF I were to find myself watching a Michigan game (outside the MSU v UM game), I will root for Michigan.

How many PF do they have so far this game???????????

                • Kapture -- If MSU avoids dirty play for the rest of this game, I'll reconsider. Let's see if they can keep their composure. Perhaps the coaches are smart enough to realize their stupidity in the aftermath of the Michigan game, and will keep their players under control this week. We'll see...

                  • The case could easily be made the better State does, the better Michigan looks.

That is why I root for Texas in the WS...

                      Two questions:
                      1) Did you see the play where Ball was injured?

                      2) Does it seem more than coincidence that 80% of the PF's in the M-msu games with Dantonio as coach were against sparty?

Perhaps you should stick to your own board, where everything is sunshine and rainbows.

                      • Ineffective punt by Badgers. Nothing I hate more than a punt that goes into the end zone and nets 10-15 yards...

                          ok.

I am still embarrassed about last week, and the neck twist was completely uncalled for.

I am hoping they rebound the rest of the season that way.

                          • Paul -- Kapture's okay. It's fun to have an intelligent Spartan fan here. If Dantonio had just said what Kapture said (admitting Gholston's foul play), then I'd be rooting for the Spartans today...
