I've been following the M v OSU rivalry since the late 60's. One painful lesson I've learned time and time again, is that you DO NOT EV-ER underestimate OSU. Just when you think "we got this", they'll stand up and smack you in the mouth.

Oregon has been sailing along in the PAC-12, beating up on the likes of Oregon State, Washington State and Stanford, and this year they had a pretty successful run thru the Big Ten. BUT ... just when they think "we got this", OSU stands up and smacks them in the mouth.

This is the Big Ten. This is why M v OSU is the best rivalry in college football. You cannot be assured of anything.

So, welcome to the Big Ten, Oregon.

And finally, I don't think there's anyone left in the playoff field that can beat OSU when they play like this. Texas may give them the toughest battle, but there's no way that Penn State, Georgia or Notre Dame can beat OSU.

Ohio State’s ceiling is higher than any team in CFB, and I don’t think it’s all that close. I’m just happy I got to see 2 games where they really showed up and balled. Don’t know what if they can beat Texas in Dallas or maybe Georgia in Atlanta. But, they’ll have a puncher’s chance.

At least the Ducks didn't fold but' overall, they were outclassed in every phase of the game. Day and his team are on a mission. Texas is going to have their hands full. OSU isn't ASU.
