  • You jinxed them.

Wisky called for a phantom chop block after converting a 3rd down. Not even close to being a chop block. B1G officiating is really bad.

    • OSU has or will play everyone in the B10 top 4. Everyone else will only play Ohio State. As if the Buckeyes don't have enough hurdles to overcome with CRD. Fuck you, B10.

James Madison West gonna fuck CRD the fuck up.

      • Stupid jinx and Wisconsin blowing a good opportunity to pull off the upset over #1…

There’s just no way my alma mater Hoosiers win next week. 1% chance at best.

        • Even Michigan had a late 4th quarter chance to beat Indiana. If they had a real QB on the roster, they likely would have pulled it off.

Nobody is stopping CRD and the bucknuts now. Any early problems are gone, and the march is on to Indy, and the playoffs.

          • As I said in the early part of the year… whenever Ohio State landed Caleb Downs… I would have bet on the Buckeyes to win the natty. My stupid state doesn’t allow sports gambling though.

It would be funny if IU wins on Saturday. Doubt it.

Buckeyes fans will have to consider what seed they want in the CFP too. Getting a part of the bracket that gives them the B12 winner or Boise State is the way to go.

                          • The Purdue athletic director basically implied that hiring Ryan Walters was a swing for the fences 2 years ago because he came across as a brilliant, young football mind. Risky and the decision would be really good or bad. Welp, Walters turned out worse than Darrell Hazell.
Purdue fans were nervous about a defensive minded hire when it happened. What works at the program is an offensive minded guru. Joe Tiller did wacky stuff while at Wyoming with the spread offense. 5 WR sets in the 1990s. He worked at Purdue. Jeff Brohm had success as a QB-centric and offensive minded guru at Western Kentucky. It worked at Purdue.

I imagine that’s what Purdue has in mind for the next hire. This will sound funny, but I was all-in for Purdue breaking the bank for Kalen DeBoer 24 months ago. This was before his stock skyrocketed with Washington’s best season and the Bama hire. My dream choice this time around is ASU’s Kenny Dillingham, but not sure if he would want to leave his alma mater. Purdue can give him B1G money… it’s also one of the worst football jobs in the conference.

A fun idea is doing what Georgia Tech did under Paul Johnson. The triple option! Purdue won’t win the recruiting battles and can’t compete with talent. Therefore, what might work is becoming a team that is hard to prepare for with a triple option offense. Such as the service academies. Zag when nearly everyone zigs. This idea was suggested a decade ago after Danny Hope failed at Purdue. I would be all for it!

                            • It's crazy to think they were in the Big Ten Championship game two years ago. Who knows if they ever will be again. The Big Ten West was like a social welfare program for sports.
