Well M could have given UNL every single play they were running...and M had no knowledge of anything on our side...and M still wins comfortably. What I think Rhule is meaning is...let's just make sure there is a level playing field...look...we weren't beating M that day regardless...but that is the kind of lopsided game (45-7 and could have been worse) that demoralizes a team...now UNL and Rhule used it as motivation and won their next 3...but c'mon liney...you guys cheated...don't hate coaches for pointing it out...

I still believe Harbaugh was unaware how far Stalions had taken this thing. At one time I think Harbaugh believed that the guy had a real knack for LEGALLY stealing signals, and told him to keep it clean, and continue. I don't believe Harbaugh authorized blatant rules violations. I just don't. You'll have to let me wallow in my optimism. I'm not coming out of it.
As for the rest of the coaches, and all of the self-righteous BULLSHIT being thrown at Michigan by ESPN, Fox Sports, the Associated Press, the WSJ, et al, .. well they can all go take a sitz bath in sulfuric acid. The self-righteous coaches and AD's in the Big Ten who are screaming for Harbaugh's head while giving and taking sign-stealing information of their own, is the absolute height of hypocracy. Joe Biden would admire the level of hypocracy going on here.
But, that treads too close to the disallowed "everyone does it" defense, doesn't it?
And if you need to know what a sitz bath is, go look it up.

A thought I had re the TRO if I'm the B10 -- go in and tell the judge this -- "Look, everyone agrees we can suspend the lying asshat for 2 games. So there's no need for a TRO. Schedule the preliminary injunction hearing in the next week. We'll brief it. We'll argue. Make a decision. It will all happen before we get to the 3rd game. If you rule for us then the suspension stays in place. If you rule for them, then it's done."Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

M’s response is as expected—you can’t punish us for cheating and even if you could you shouldn’t because everyone does it.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I highly doubt the B10 has considered the authority question. This should stop them in their tracks!

I wouldn't go so far as to say "everyone does it" with respect to stealing signals either, although we do know now that Purdue, OSU, and Rutgers do it. Via means that run far more contrary to the spirit of fair competition than one dude collating data from dozens of hours of cell phone footage. Although for some reason, that one dude was apparently better at it than the collective coaching staffs of Rutgers, OSU, and Purdue, if the on-field results have been any indication.
