    Everyone knows this. They’re a punchline. Dirty. Fucking. Cheaters.

    • Well, it seems like this where we stand:

      (1) It's indisputable that M cheated for 2+ seasons and that cheating operation was run by a M staff member;

      (2) It's indisputable that the M-staff member was working directly with both coordinators during games;

      (3) It's indisputable that under the applicable rules the HC does not have to have actual knowledge of the transgression -- I'm sorry -- systematic cheating;

      (4) M and its fans know, or should know, that this 3 years -- which coinicides with their systematic cheating -- is a blip -- pretty much like Dantonio's 2013-15 run -- and that starting next year and for the foreseeable future they return to being the same old M of the past 20 years;

      (5) M and its fans know, or should know, this is going to be their only credible chance to win a national title in a long time; and

      (6) M, despite the indisputable facts in (1)-(3), is going to fight tooth and nail to preserve it's last chance at a national title.

      This should be a really entertaining week.

      • And I'm stilly praying to God that IF the B10 suspends HARBAUGH***** that M decides to seek a TRO and argue they'll prevail on the merits because, in part, HARBAUGH**** didn't know. To get that cheating sack of shit under an actual oath in a depostion -- oh, man -- that would be glorious.

        • The TRO would be based on Big 10 rules as I understand it. Sounds like the suspension is coming soon.

          • Re the TRO -- Yes -- M would have to say the B10 exceeded its authority and could NOT -- in any way -- assert innocence. The minute they get outside of B10 rules and start defending themselves on the facts they are in for a world of hurt -- in a lot of different ways.

            • Now, there's a WSJ article that claims the Big Ten will defer to the NCAA. Nobody really knows anything, IMO.

              • If I were the B10, I'd at least do the 2 games they can do under the rules, but what do I know.

                The facts are pretty cut and dried at this point. And the HC's Sargent Schultz defense doesn't absolve him of no punishment under any circumstances.

                I would do the 2 games and if they felt immense pressure, then go to the executive committee or whatever for approval for more. I think that's how the conference rules work.

                      • Michigan should be forced to pay for the contracts of any fired Big10 coaches from the past 3 years as it seems evident now that they lost employment through Michigan chicanery.

                        Paging Mr. Frost...

                          • I would simply settle for M being forced to hire Brian Ferentz as OC and Alex Grinch as DC. That seems like the surest possible way to insulate member schools from whatever brazen cheatery M is engaged in.

                              • I'd rather have the team not play at all than watch 125 yards of offense and 750 yards of defense play.

                                I mean, I'm ALREADY stuck with a quasi-Brian Ferentz team -- OSU is bad, but we all know there's several layers of atrocious to get through before you get to Iowa. Thank god they occasionally stop someone.
