Balas is definitely a sunshine pumping tool, so I’m slightly inclined to believe him when it’s bad, but nah.

That's a departure from M's usual deference to investigations by the NCAA of rules violations. Ono also reportedly told Petitti, who asked Ono to suspend Harbaugh, that he would not consider suspending him until the NCAA process for investigating rules violations is completed. (see above). Along with Regents shooting down rumors that M had rescinded it's contract extension with JH, I'd say that's a pretty strong endorsement of him.
Finally, there are reports floating around that the PI firm that was hired to investigate M's sign stealing operation accessed M's computer system to gather evidence illegally. I'm not endorsing this report just reporting it's out there. M principals have a habit of leaking information they want in the public domain to trusted sources.
My take is that M is counter attacking. Another good sign that M principals are behind JH and will fight to protect him and the reputation of the U in the sign gate brouhaha..Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.Comment
