Wait....Texas, Penn State, UCLA, @Wisconsin, @Washington and @M is a "poop" schedule?
I agree on that 2024 ain't great, though the added trip to Eugene definitely raises it above whatever M has been doing the past 3 seasons.
But, 2025? JFC.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

This is how outstanding next year's Big Ten schedule is. Keep in mind some big time QBs will be gone so rankings will fluctuate. BUT... in the polls as of today, 6 of the top 9 teams will compete in the Big Ten next year and they all have at least 3 games against teams in the group.
Current rank:
Michigan - 2
OSU - 3/4
PSU - 6
Wash - 7/8
Oregon - 8/9
USC - 9/7
Number of games against teams in this group for each team in 2024:
Michigan - 4
Washington - 4
USC - 3
OSU - 3
Oregon - 3
PSU - 3
The 4 that only play 3 from that top tier all play Wisconsin and Michigan/Wash don't.

To be fair, Mike, in living his best Joe Biden life, was also in Berlin goading Hitler in 1941..."you're fighting a one-front war, dog...that's a poop schedule...go East and, if you get a chance, declare on the US! Be a man!"
Meanwhile, Mike, in living his best HARBAUGH!!!!!! was in Reagan's ear...."Yeah, dog, Grenada is perfect...chance to get some valuable experience."Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

OSU's 2025 home slate is Minny, PSU, Rutgers, UCLA. So, again, not much sizzle over what it normally is. The road schedule is tough. Anyway, that was just my quick first impression without knowing who everyone was playing OOC.

And yes, Michigan's OOC has been a joke the last two years but this upcoming schedule is why. We have to do return trips to Austin and Norman and we have a 4 game home Big Ten slate in 2025. That means we'll only have 6 home games and the other upcoming years will be 7 at most. They bought out UCLA, not because we're AFRAID of UCLA (JFC) but because the AD wanted to load up a couple more 8 game home slates while they could. Those two extra home games are worth about $25M to the AD. Take that money now before the new TV deal kicks in and you're down to 6/7 home games a season.
