Well scratch that, heh. I've never been to USC or UCLA either. Heh
Conversely, I HAVE been to both USC and UCLA.

        • I went to a USC game at the Coliseum. Definitely a shitty party of town.

          • Saw a blurb that the Big10 may drop its requirement that teams schedule a "Power 5" team non-conference once USC & UCLA join

            • Since when has that been a rule? Michigan didn't play a P5 non-con game last year or this year.

I think they immediately watered down the rule to allow AAC teams or BYU to count too. So UConn and East Carolina are your "Power 5" opponents!!!

EDIT: Never mind, forgot UConn is independent again.

                  • We lacked a P5 opponent in 2019 unless Cincinnati counts.

                    • I'm not really being sarcastic here. The problem is that there is no penalty for the P5 schools to schedule weak OOC competition. I don't blame them. Teams can make the playoffs if they U Conn or Notre Dame as an OOC. It doesn't matter which one you play. If they'd tie in playoff consideration with the teams scheduled, then the bigger schools would start scheduling each other more often. Michigan is going to play Texas and Oklahoma in upcoming years (home and home) but that's just one team in each season. Its time to beef up these schedules by scheduling more conference games, and tougher OOC opponents. I really want to see more intersectional games, although with the way conferences are growing, "intersectional" could be a conference game. (see U-M v UCLA in the future)

                      • Our non-conference for 2024 was finished today and it's as bad or worse as 2019: Southern Miss, Western Michigan, and Marshall.

That used to be a good rivalry.
