Probably the closest game to yesterday's game was the 99 game where Plaxico won the game. MSU went down to Purdue the next week and lost in Same Old Spartan fashion. I think they may have been up 13 and had a FG attempt returned for a TD

I think Talent is right about his Buckeyes and Purdue. From what I've seen at 10K, I think OSU's DBs are not a whole lot better than MSU's ..... and I did get a chance to see them up close when they played M. Not good. Purdue showed exactly how to thrash MSU and that was throw over the heads of the LBs into the open zones MSU creates with it's aggressive use of a S and LBs. M had some success with this approach. When Purdue did it played right into what Aiden O'Oonnell is really good at. They made KWIII just another useless highlight reel unimportant to the game and O'Connell's 40 of 54 for a career-high 536 yard, 5 TD game. I thought that was the coolest thing I've seen Jeff Brohm do in a while.
I think Stroud and his excellent receivers are better than Thorne and his but OSU's OL will have to deal with Karlaftis who's a very good DE. It's going to be a very good game involving a chess match between the two best coaches in the BT. I don't see Day or OSU bitch slapping the Boilers.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Sounds about right. Could easily be the other way around too. Should be an entertaining game to watch ...... except for OSU fans whose bung holes will be tighter than a frog in water for around 4h Saturday afternoon.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. CURRENT BOWL PICTURE
Michigan (9-1)
Michigan State (9-1)
OSU (9-1)
Iowa (8-2)
Wisconsin (7-3)
Purdue (6-4)
Penn State (6-4)
Minnesota (6-4)
Rutgers (5-5)
Maryland (5-5)
Illinois (4-6)
Nebraska (3-7)
Northwestern (3-7)
Indiana (2-8)
Literally either Rutgers or Maryland WILL definitely end up eligible since they play each other the final week. I would say Rutgers has a better chance at beating a very deflated Penn State team than Maryland does beating Michigan. Illinois can technically still reach 6 wins but only by beating Iowa in Iowa City.

That one makes me laugh. Its not as though Franklin has had a whole lot more success getting past OSU, than Harbaugh has. Yet, most PSU fans rail more on Harbaugh than any other coach in the conference. You'd think they are all related to Paul Finebaum. (see?.. i didn't call him howard this time)
Oh well, its their money."in order to lead America you must love America"

I congratulate the PSU AD. Having Franklin cemented at PSU for M is like OSU having Harbaugh cemented (and he is, no doubt) at M. Its GREAAAATTT!Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
