Hi Rob, there will be a tailgate at Scio with Doug although it's going to be crimped somewhat. Doug's enthusiasm for college sports has ebbed with COVID contributing. Sean is leery of entering the stadium with unknown travelers from high viral prevalence areas, unknowingly sporting the virus. Even though it's an outdoor venue Delta's transmissibility even in that environment isn't fully known. So there's a risk of getting exposed, and bringing it back to his kids.
Even though he was vaxed in December concern over waning protection and Delta is legit. He may not enter the stadium. I'm less concerned but respect his view I'll be traveling to DTW on Thursday and will be at the first two games. I have the same concerns that Sean has - our shots received in February. It's hard to have confidence there's no threat to me getting constantly blasted by the media's negative COVID narrative some of it which is fact based.
How goes it, Jeff?! For the first couple weeks of tailgating, I'll have to let you know early next week for sure, but more likely I'll have time to stop over at Doug's tailgate before the Huskies game than the WMU game.
I fully understand what you are saying re:covid and your and Sean's plans. I had a moderate case of covid in March 2020 (sick for almost 2 weeks, cough for 2+ months,) and got my 2nd vax in mid March 2021, so I *think/hope* I'm good for now, who knows for certain...
We are being dominated by a bad football team with a new coach and a backup QB with a TD to INT ratio of Joe Bauserman. At least maybe this will get Trev Alberts to start a setious fucking HC search.
Well, fuck it. It's CFB. I'm impressed to see that the stadium is full of a lot of Illini fans. At least the camera shots I'm seeing. But this game is HS football quality without the emphasis on all the crazy ass, more exciting to watch, speed in space shit they typically do.
That's actually more enjoyable than watching grab me some ribs between plays Bret-ball. God Awful looks like Wisconsin battering smaller children or clubiong seals Where did he get that.
Nebraska looks completely outclassed...... and that's Bielema were talking about here.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
