Purdue lost last night thanks to the refs robbing Purdue of a go ahead TD with under a minute left of the game. Most phantom like call since the Karan Higdon holding call a few years ago. F**** off B10 refs. So egregiously bad that some sportsbooks have actually refunded bets.
Granted, this game shouldn’t have been close because Minnesota was missing 25 players/ coaches. That’s also likely the reason Purdue came out so flat.

I'm getting to the point where I think that flags that involve a score, or a scoring possibility should be automatically reviewed. That call was just horrible. No excuse at all. That SJ had one responsibility, and that was to watch the receiver closest to him, and it was on a shortened field so he didn't even have to move to see the call clearly. There's nothing there. Absolutely nothing.

At first I thought that maybe just the SJ should be fired, but I'm thinking that maybe the whole crew should be sat down for a week. Somebody should have spoke up and asked him if he was sure he saw the play. The BJ actually has a better view on that particular play. If I'm at BJ, I'm coming over and asking him if he's sure. I don't care if the evaluator marks me down for it.

The ref that threw that flag should at least be suspended. Maybe fired and/ or investigated by the B10. Possibly the crew too.
Wouldn’t surprise me if that ref is a Minnesota hall of fame high school ref. Remember the M vs Ohio State 2016 ref crew? Though this ref situation is different because it’s clearly a phantom call that cost a team a win. Everyone can agree.

Well the B1G Title Game is set.

OSU vs. fNW

NW is at MSU and Minnesota, then they finish at home against Illinois. MSU is no threat to them. Minny could create a few problems but probably not enough to tally up a win. They're too busy rowing a boat, or some nonsense like that. Illinois could give them a scrap at the end, if the Cats are looking ahead. I think they'll win all three.

OSU is at Illinois, at MSU, and then back home vs Michigan to finish up. Again, Illinois could be scrappy, but Brandon Peters isn't the QB to take advantage of any weakness in OSU's defensive backfield. MSU will get hammered. They've already played their best game of the season, and Rocky Lombardi's 15 minutes are over. Michigan showed signs of life on Saturday with Cade McNamara, but the defense is still coached by Don Brown. Only question in that one will be how many points Day wants. How many points is good enough? 40? 50? 60 or more? Its really up to him. Michigan cannot stop them.

OSU v NW could be entertaining for about a half, but after that, OSU will dominate.
