      • It's always the conundrum when the starking raving mad imbecile sides with you. Do you question your own position because said imbecile is lucid once every Haley's Comet? Or do you remain steadfast and assume this one time out of a million the village jackass has got it right.

It's very troubling. But when, e.g., The Wizard sides with me, I prefer to do a quick 180 than attribute any sort of correctness to whatever position he has offered up in his pigeon clicks and grunts language.

        • Good point.....normally.

There is no way Bama gets in. None, zero, zed, zilch.

You do not lose on November 24 by double digits, miss your CCG, and have no marquee game to fall back on and get in the CFP. I'll take action right now on that. It would take about 4 teams getting eaten by zombies.

              • Heh.

The Sugar is part of the CFP, so you've subconsciously belied your sandbaggery.

Hey, I'm with you. I think each conference gets 1 and one conference gets none. Last year Alabama could have lost in the CCG and still made it because no way in hell a 3-loss Florida team deserved it.

I'm quite alright with OSU getting left out. They really aren't that good. But, it better be to an 11-2 USC team, not Alabama. That, of course, assumes they beat Wisconsin.

Agreed that this year's Bama team, despite only the one loss, wouldn't normally get in with this resume.

But this is Alabama, and if it's close then Saban's decade of dominance sways the vote over the iffy 2-loss field.

All moot if Wisconsin takes care of oLIEo.

                    • ever since your voodoo hex I've plummeted in the contests worth $$$ and skyrocketed in contests set up by retired invalids who have nothing to do but keep count of fake money

got 6 pars in row the other day and some moron immediately voodoo hexes me saying you know you have 6 row? I finished 13 over

in another contest where I inexplicably didn't place a pick. fell 10 spots from 4th to 14th out of 350 entries costing hundreds of dollars

the only joy was watching pissburgh almost take it in the ass last night and even that got shitsstained with a miracle fg

black Friday was nothing compared to black saturday and sunday

                        • And I don't think any two-loss team or any team that lost in November (esp late November) has that compelling of a gripe. If you have lost twice your argument doesn't carry much weight, imo.

                          • Correct. My personal preference is to not see 2 teams from he same league in. It would have been awful if, e.g., Penn State made it ahead of Washington last year.

I don't really care if USC goes ahead of OSU. I mean, meh. That's my anachronistic baseline.

Shit, making the CFP means OSU will probably play Clemson again and almost certainly get prison-raped again.
