When I got back from Hawaii a couple months ago, adjusting back to East Coast Time Zone sucked!
I think Hawaii plays in Australia or something the week before too.

Someone mentioned something about being worried about past history, eg. App State debacle in relationship to the Hawaii game. That was then, this is now. App State was good. M was ill-prepared for that and suffered mightily for the "this is Michigan Syndrome."

Carr was done, the stars on that team had other objectives .... like finish out the next couple of seasons with minimal effort, no injuries and get drafted. The last game of the Carr regime showed what that team was capable of in another time, another day and in a different set of circumstances.

I doubt we will ever seen that kind of thing ever happening again under Harbaugh, if what we know about JH's past CFB coaching gigs and his time in the NFL is accurate and I have no doubt based on his current behaviors that it is.

So, yeah, I'll be in AA for the first two games, am looking forward to it and I have no doubts it will bring back memories of the Schembechler days of sheer dominance that M football produced in the period '70-'74 where his teams went 50-4-1 .... and never mind that those 4 losses and 1 tie were to his nemesis Woody Hayes at osu. So, while it's true, M has been osu's bitch for as long as I can remember, before I die, I'm hoping JH has it in him to fuck those POSs and dominate them reversing that stain on M football history forever.

So, what you're saying is that overall, M has not been owned by osu?

We can cherry pick our time frames all we want and in my first post on this subject, the point was that Bo had a dominant football team from 70-74, perhaps his most dominant teams, and still went 1-3-1 v. Woody/osu.

Bo's 75-79 teams were less dominant overall, still good and during that time frame he went 4-1 v. osu. However, he didn't win a single post season game.

During the period 80-84 Bo's teams went 42-18 overall, still al losing record v osu (2-3) and was 1-4 in the post season.

Looking at the period 85-2005, Cooper took over at osu in 87, lost his first game to M, won in 88 and proceeded to go 1-4-1 v. Moeller. Carr arrived in 95 and beat osu 6 consecutive meetings, precipitating his firing at the end of the 2000 season.

JT first coached in the 2001 season and since then, M, under three different coaches, has gone 2-14 v. osu. Overall, there should be no question of who is owning who.

I want that to change under JH and just due to the trends toward the mean or the law of averages, M should do some catching up. But that's not what I really, really want. I want utter destruction, the painful tear-jerking kind, beatings with an enthusiasm unknown to man kind..... but done with integrity and the respect that those ass-clowns don't deserve.

I used a half century prior to the current woes. Not exactly cherry-picked data. Obviously, OSU owns the series since Tressel was hired but I figured you could remember a time before that. Maybe the memory is going? Ha.
