Oh I don't know about that, anytime you get to throttle the 2nd best SEC team on national TV, it's only a recruiting boon. Several Gators heading to the NFL and our guys thoroughly embarrassed them, only driving up our stock.

What a wonderful day, the stadium was buzzing, Michigan fans everywhere the enthusiasm, unbridled. My tailgate was specatacular...hell I am too loaded to properly smash the Ohio A & M. Nice stage to launch our title run next season.

    Bravo King James!

Talent, eat excrement. That is all.

    • The B1G is still 5-4. Not terrible considering we always get the toughest matchups because of how well we travel. No Texas Tech, Kansas State, or Memphis on the schedule for us.

But you do get a Central Michigan and a Duke. And how you travel doesn't mean much because of tie-ins.

        • We have tie-ins to good bowls because we DO travel and we have big alumni bases.

          • The SEC doesn't travel. In fact, every bowl game is like an away game for us. True story: only 7 Bama fans went to Dallas. Swear to god.

And one day the SEC will have tie-ins to bowls where we can face B1G teams. We just don't travel well enough for that, though. One day, maybe..

            • We got those teams for Minnehaha and Indiana, who went a combined 4-12 in their conference. Nebraska went 3-5 in the conference and they played UCLA. LSU went 5-3 in their conference and played Texas Tech. We had three Top 10 opponents. You guys had one. And this is representative of pretty much every year. The B1G draws the toughest matchups every year with few exceptions.

              • The B10 is having a bowl season akin to the SEC last year. Granted, only a few were touting the B10 as the best conference as opposed to that absolute suck off of the SEC West all last season. However, two B10 teams got assraped in big games. OSU, at least, won. But the B10 still managed a 5-5 season -- Penn State will lose big.

Last year the SEC lost it's big stage games -- 2 in a bad way. But the SEC East was great in bowls and they were still like 6-4 or something.

We got Memphis (which isn't a horrible team) for 6-6 Auburn.

We got 7-win Texas Tech against 8-win LSU. Mismatch? I guess. LSU has struggled this year. Depended which Tigers showed up.

We got Kansas State for a very up and down Arkie team. Again, mismatch? I guess.
