  • Nov 1st must be an exception, soon the 2nd, 3rd & 4th will be exceptions then suddenly the B10 will allow night games in November.

    • My my my, how far have we fallen. No major network is broadcasting our game, only BSPN. Ped State vs Middling Michigan. At least the game is on at 7pm, so when I shut it off at halftime, there's still time for other evening activities. While the outcomes of our previous 2 night outings have been favorable, the rest of the in person atmosphere has been pretty miserable.

3 night games for osu? In one season? One has to wonder what the attraction (to osu) is? Perceived increased visibility? osu is already high profile. More money? osu is already broadcasting every game. Perhaps its west coast recruiting where our late time zone equates to better recruiting exposure. But 3 games?

      • What's to wonder? These are ESPN/ABC's picks. OSU is probably the safest bet to be nationally relevant + carry a huge brand name.

        • ESPN's current missions is to cram as many good games as possible into as many few time slots as possible so that people can't watch them.

            • Here's the full primetime schedule, including games on BTN. Notice Sparty is playing Maryland at night on Nov. 15th. I think the rule prohibiting night games after Nov. 1 must be over with. Still makes no sense why some of these games are at night and OSU @ MSU isn't.

The Big Ten Network has announced their 2014 prime time football TV schedule. A total of ten games were announced that will feature ten Big Ten teams.

              • Sparty & Maryland were both willing to play the game, was it ever a rule or one of those agreed upon, unwritten rules? Maryland is a bit milder in November than most the B10.
