  • If it does turn out to be Iowa v. Missouri...I could see that 2 ways. 1) Iowa gets destroyed or 2) Missouri comes out really flat in disappointment over their bowl bid.

Georgia might be injured enough that Michigan can hang with them. Hopefully "I have nothing to lose" Hoke and Borges show up for that game and not UConn Hoke & Borges

    • I guess some things never change

Massive crowds of Michigan State University revelers gathered at Cedar Village apartments burning couches early Sunday morning after the Spartans won a bid to the Rose Bowl.

An Instagram video uploaded of the incident shows people carrying a couch, while shouting “burn that couch! Burn that couch!”

Some people indicated there was a riot.

“My back’s cut up from crowd surfing, my heads pounding, and I can’t feel the rest of my body, I love you my school. #msu #riot,” wrote one user.

Another added: “Couch on river street on fire #riot #eastlasning #msu”

Said another: “If you don’t go to MSU right now you are MISSING OUT BECAUSE IT’S A LITERAL RIOT!!!!!!”

      • All the stars were aligned for Sparty to be lucky enough and play in a pathetic conference.

Oshitu's Oscar Meyer has won TWO count 'em TWO division titles! god Strangelove you must be so proud as you and your team bent over and took it up the ass once again from a team "Up North"! say hi to Talent for us since that bitty pecker is afraid to show his sorry ass after such a truly valent effort! Oh and tell Oscar Meyer's wife that she can choke on the big one while Oscar repeats " Michigan State" over and over for the next year!

            • That was truly shocking...I was sure that MSUs defense was a fraud after the game in Lincoln, but maybe it was just one of those days. Maybe we did not see Sparty's best on offense either however, given all the turnovers we had. IDK...hard to predict what happens in a league with so many flawed teams.

              • Hi Stan!

I see you managed to lift your head up out of the gutter to scream obscenities after our loss. Interesting that you say Talent doesn't have the guts to show up after a loss considering that, well, you've been absent all season long and only show up to revel in a loss your team couldn't deliver.

Hope you find a bigger refrigerator box soon

                Yer pal,

                • The B10 overall looks to me to be at about the same level of the ACC. That is disturbing. Based on Championship games, Stanford seems like the most consistently good team nationally. Exceptionally well coached. I like Gus Malzahn a lot .... Love his offense. Not the best defense but overall very well coached and fantastic player development ..... Tre Mason is a perfect example. So is the OL blocking for him. I also like Jimbo Fisher and FSU's rise is a reflection of his excellent HC skills.

Back to the B10. ufm got out coached by Dantonio (excluding the muffed onside kick he dialed up). Obviously we don't know who was making the adjustments for MSU, in game, but man they certainly seemed to be getting the job done. There was a quarter there where osu, hyde, miller and the OL were just gashing MSU's D. Later, as MSU comes back, 63 yards for osu or something like that. Impressive. Hope Narduzzi gets a HC job somewhere else.

....... And then there is Hokeorges. Not encouraging for Ms future. Seems like well be second tier for a while in mud wrestling matches with teams M used to own. Things change, though. CFB is still fun to watch save throwing bricks through the TV watching Michigan play.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                  • Stanford, yes. Save for guys who want to be in the Bay Area, Michigan's a step up. Shaw -- I didn't know but his dad was Willie Shaw and coached for the Lions. David Shaw went to high school in Rochester Hills. He's also Stanford alum. He went into coaching immediately after playing. He's 41. His career record is 34-6 as a head coach. It'll be interesting to see how he does against MSU.

Team up north? A Michigan fan uses that phrase to refer to MSU does what Michigan couldn't? Shudder. HFS this is depressing.

Another lie from Stan. It makes me happy that idiot is renewing his season tickets to enjoy another season of misery. I'm disappointed, though, he won't see UFM pimp his boys again. Wait, or is he a Michigan State fan now?

You got that right, Buchanan. This makes me very sad:

                          Hyde rushes 1st Q (6,2,5,9) 2nd Q (2,2,3,8) 3rd Q (18,6,3,11,10,8,12,6) 4th Q (4,3) NEVER STOPPED,6.8 ypc *

Two 4th Q carries. They had good field position and a lead on a couple of occasions and wasted it. Wasted it and let Sparty back into the game. One more score puts it away. So damn frustrating.

I have to say, though, this MSU loss isn't as bad as 1998. Perspective, probably. Still sucks, but I don't get the sense that this is OSU's "one" chance. They're only getting better.
