No real surprise that Wisky grinds out a decisive win.

LOL.
Well, after today it would appear Michigan State and Ohio State will play in Indy. Even if UNL manages to pull out a win today, they're good for at least 1 more loss. I don't think Michigan State loses more than once.
Wisconsin probably isn't losing again, so OSU will have to win 2 of its final 3 to go to Indy.
If it happens, classic old school/new school defense/offense matchup.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Did someone say Hoke is underpaid or taken advantage of by UM?
Ohio State's Urban Meyer is first in the Big Ten and sixth nationally with a salary of $4,608,000, two spots ahead of Michigan's Brady Hoke ($4,154,000). Meyer and Hoke both are eligible for $550,000 bonuses in 2013.
Isn't it about time Dantonio jumps the Sparty ship?
Michigan State's Mark Dantonio undoubtedly is the best value in the league at $1,959,744,
The median coach in the Big Ten makes about $1 million less than the median coach in the SEC. But sure, blame academic standards.

OSU and Penn State were ineligible last year and PSU is again. That's been the biggest problem.
Indiana prob isn't going to win 3 of 4. Illinois could maybe do it because they still play Purdue, Indiana, and Northwestern. Northwestern needs to beat Illinois and get an upset over Michigan or Sparty

Yeah, last weekend was a bad weekend for bowl eligibility. Northwestern and Indiana probably would made it to bowl eligibility if they had won last week. And Penn State is still ineligible.
The other "problem" is that Wisconsin is looking like a BCS team. However, they play a pretty good BYU team this week. If they get past BYU, they should finish 10-2 and get an at-large BCS bid unless OSU loses the CG, then OSU will get it.
So, you're looking at losing 1 from the top to the BCS and they lost 2 last week.
The B10 would have had 8 eligible: OSU, Wisky, MSU, Nebraska, M, Minnesota, Penn State, Iowa. Without PSU it's down to 7. Taking one for the BCS at-large, it's down to 6. That hail mary from UNL cost the B10 some money!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Incidentally, the SEC won't fill all their spots. And if the BCS takes an at-large SEC team, which it will, they'll fall two short.
Though, I guess that doesn't fit in with the narrative.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I've considered your request and must decline. My reasons are many but the most significant concern your poor intellect, revolting hygiene and uncouth temperment. More succinctly, and perhaps in language you may comprehend, "No, you're a dipshit!"Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
