      • I think Michigan and MSU are 3a and 3b, Iowa is 5 and UNL is 6.

The top 2 and bottom 2 are crystal clear. 3 through 10 are tough to sort out.

My only quibble with talent's view is that I'd say 5-9 are the tough ones. I think NfW is done. neb may be too if there's a hangover from the Minnesota loss similar to the hangover NfW suffered at osu beat them. You can also argue that for different reasons, M and MSU may be interchangeable. We'll sort that out next weekend.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

            • Yeah, 5-9 is tough. I have the Goofer ahead of NW because they beat them in Evanston.

I think UNL won't drop any lower than #6.

I think MSU and M are even, but I lean toward Sparty getting the win this Saturday b/c it's in EL.

Like I said, I think the top 2 and bottom 2 are easy. The other 8 are not.

              • I see five tiers:

                *1/2 Ohio & Wisconsin
                *3/4 Sparty & M
*5-8. Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, Indiana
                *9/10 NW, Minnesota
                *11/12 Illinois, Purdue

                3-10 isn't much further away than #2 & #3.

                • I would actually say 4 tiers and throw Iowa/UNL in with Michigan teams and PSU and IU in with NW and Goofers.

                  1-2; 3-6; 7-10; 11-12.

                  • When Iowa beats the mighty Badgers next week will they be #2?

                    • In that unlikely event, Sparty will move up to #2 after beating M (not that you care). Iowa will settle in at #3.

However, all this ancillary to you as Alabama begins prep for its "big challenge" against LSU.
