  • NU @ Iowa going into OT right now, tied up at 10.

    • And I know they're not yet in the B1G, but Rutgers football has clearly taken a step backward this season. Getting an ass-whipping at home at the hands of Houston, 49-14 early in the 4th quarter.

      • Iowa draws 1st blood in OT, TD pass giving them a 17-10 lead. NU needing a TD to stay alive...

                      • Prior to the 80's, Minnesota used to play Nebraska a lot. Over 50 meetings

                        • Maryland stayed with #9 Clemson for awhile before falling behind 33-13. They just scored a quick TD, though, to make it interesting to all 5000 fans left in their stadium. Game just has 5:56 to go in the 4th, though, and an attempted onside kick just failed.

Not at all excited to see them joining the B1G, but they look to be a little more competitive than Rutgers right now.

                          • ...and as I hit the post button, Clemson tacks on another TD. The remainder of the fans that showed up (other than 7 moms and 4 dads) are now leaving.

I guess recruiting over the last 4 years explains the B10. Not. Too. Impressive.

the top tiers all went south at about the same time. Michigan actually led the charge to mediocrity under RR and the rest collapsed over that time span.
