Is there another conf that's sending their 6th and 7th place team to better bowls than these?

Personally I'd prefer a trip to San Fran, NYC, or DC over Houston.

On another note, are we done with the Insight Bowl/BW3 Bowl? I'm a little surprised they would ditch the Arizona location

The SEC has

1. Sugar Bowl
2. Cotton
3. Capital One
4. Peach
5. Outback

After that it's basically the same as where our bottom tier is: Music City, Gator, Liberty, Independence...don't think those games are"better", just more established.

SEC lost some major bowls to the playoff system; Peach & Cotton. They'll come out well but we're not sure how well yet. I think they'll come out really similar to the B10...

Bowl payouts aren't expected to be quite so high (relative to expectations) as the conferences aren't going to be forced to purchase near as many tickets as they have in the past.

I didn't mind sitting in the SW corner at Ryan Field. My seats were 4 rows back from the path that the visiting team takes to get to the field. I got to shake hands with several of the players as they took the field last (2011) year. Denard gave me a "five" as he went by. It was pretty neat.

Bowls will never give the good seats to the students, because that's where they make their big bucks. Students are only there to cheer for their teams.

worst stadium experience was NW this past year... no question. Between the seats and the security (which, btw, they must of got from the airport)... it was an not a very good game experience.

What kinds of problems did you have at NW?

I've been there the last 4 times that Michigan has played there, and not had any problems at all.
