Some points
*Pretty interesting discussion of M's offense and struggles. It's interesting b/c they think the sign-stealing issue is more important for how their offense functions.
*Great defenses
*M's run offense gives them an advantage
*Their Model cannot figure out M -- they were absolutely invincible earlier in the season, but PSU and Maryland were not.
*The Model has M winning 23-17 and Ohio State outgaining M -- which is very odd -- but points to red zone efficiencies
*They both pick Ohio State, but they're really guessing -- they won't have a really good sense of either team until after
*They haven't picked this game correctly in a long time
Personally, having seen M the last two weeks, I no longer think they're favorites to win the CFP. I had them as overwhelming favorites in my mind but watching their offense the last two weeks is really concerning. Now, I still think they're better than Ohio State because Ohio State is not elite. So, I think they win this game by 7-10. But, I no longer think the beat Georgia and, in fact, I think Georgia is probably 7-10 better than them.
So, it's an interesting discussion if you wanna listen -- like I said, there's about 5-8 minutes on sign issues which they say "if you want to put a tinfoil hat on, then...". You'll have to judge for yourselves.
I do think it's absolutely fascinating that their Model really can't figure out what M is going to do -- whereas, the Model feels very good about predicting Ohio State.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
