It’s a good thing that I’m planning on checking out of the college football world come January. The timing is right. I need a new hobby. Maybe I'll try needlepoint.
In addition to doubling the amount of offenders on the coaching staff (thereby increasing the likelihood of an LOIC), the Partridge revelation doubles the distraction level and makes it harder to gin up fake outrage over Harbaugh getting suspended. I was hoping that we could use that to our advantage against OSU.

Right. Now it's pretty much, "welp, we're fucked". There's a minimum 2 games of meaningful Michigan football left. Beat OSU and we get 2-3 more then turn out the lights. 2024 will feature new players at almost every position and, in all likelihood, a new coaching staff.

We can still beat OSU, but I like our chances a lot less now. If we beat OSU, we'll win the B1G. If we win the B1G, we've got a puncher's chance in Game 1 of the CFP if it's a favorable matchup.
I think the teams are fairly even in general terms -- I think both teams have, ummm, inconsistent OL play. I think both teams are really strong on defense. But M has the far better QB and M has the ability to get 2 yards any time it needs it, which means 7 in the red zone instead of 3.
I'd be fairly surprised if OSU scores more than 13. I can easily see something like 27-10 where it's never game.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
It's all too story book for it to work out. IF we beat OSU, it will go down as one of the best wins in the history of the program and we'd be treated with Tony Petitti handing Jim Harbaugh the Big Ten trophy. Then we'd go to the Rose Bowl where we'd possibly face the PAC-12 champ in a classic Big Ten/PAC matchup. So, of course it won't happen. I guess we'll have to take solace in the fact that Ryan Day will forever have a losing record against Jim Harbaugh.
