Once M withdraws its motion for TRO there is no hearing. There's nothing. The B10 wasn't suing M. M was suing the B10. Once M caved because they were set to assfucked, there was no case left.

I'm fine with the settlement. We may learn in the coming days what both sides had on the other. Who had leverage? I sure as hell don't know with certainty and neither does anyone else claiming they do. I can think of several claims that if they were accurate would ding the target of them - and this goes both ways. IMO, that's what drove the settlement.

My take is that neither side wanted this in the news for the next couple of months while "experts" poured through court documents and filings, while sports journalists had a field day. At this point and TBF we don't know which party stood to lose the most.

And its fine with me if the NCAA actually rules on the matter in 2024. And I may not like their conclusions, but I'll be glad that the stupidity of the whole thing is over with. The NCAA specializes in stupidity, so that is my expectation of them. I won't be disappointed in any way. They need to shake the shit out of their pant legs and get it over with.
