  • The fact that Stalions is making $55,000 annually also adds to coaches’ skepticism.

“Who paid for this?” wondered a Pac-12 head coach. “There’s no way this kid paid for it out of his own pocket. You can’t tell me Jim didn’t know.
This trope needs to be put to rest. Stalions served in the Marines as a junior officer from 2017-2022. When he got out as a Captain in 2022, his base pay was $6,185.40/month. The Basic Housing Allowance for where he was stationed in Camp Pendleton was $3,104/month. That totals $9,289.40/month or $111,477/year. As far as I know he's a single dude with no kids.

There's also been reports that he used to rent out his place in SoCal on VRBO for extra money and sleep in his car. Dude was ALL IN.

I think it's safe to say he could afford a ticket to fucking Rutgers and Purdue games.

Hell, right now you can get a ticket on the 40 yard line for Nebraska-MSU tomorrow for $23 including fees.

        • There's just no other explanation as to why Michigan is so good now. Has to be the sign-stealing guy.

Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh said he expects his team to break the NFL draft record, which is 15 players from one team selected, in the upcoming draft. Harbaugh said he thinks 20 Wolverines could depart Ann Arbor for the pro ranks, and it turns out that ESPN doesn’t think he’s too far off.

In a new article noting which teams have the most pro talent on their rosters, ESPN projects that 17 Michigan football players will be drafted overall, though just one in the first round.

As many as 20 players are likely to declare and ESPN predicts 17 of them will get drafted.

              • Captain Stalions shows up for games with a laminated card of all of the opponents signs, he stands next to the coordinators and talks with Harbaugh**** but Harbaugh**** has no idea how he got such sick laminated cards? Either he knows or doesn't want to know in a mob boss kind of way.

Correct. He was also known to get signals off the TV broadcast, too. Once they prove up their case that Harbaugh knew, I’ll support a punishment for him. Until then anyone suggestion it can jump off a fucking cliff. After they shoot themself, of course.

                        • I think the people who hate Michigan here should set up their own little safe space and plan a protest (marching with "signs").

But the fact that they were cheating for two years is not in dispute. But -- yeah, witchhunt!!!!!

I wouldn’t anticipate anything changing anytime soon as far as facts go. There’s, apparently, no end in site to uninformed nonsense being thrown around by the media but that’s par for the course.
