  • C'mon boys -- Connor Stalions on the Central Michigan sidelines "in disguise" against Sparty -- that's fucking hilarious.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

      • This is the guy who had the complete and total faith of both Coordinators and the HC. So much so that they all had his laminated opposing team signals (which were obtained in-game, obviously) and so much so that he had the ear of both coordinators and even HARBAUGH***** during games. But, nah....just a rogue low-level staffer that M relied at various points in the game in making play calls.

        • It would be funnier if the guy on the CMU sideline was actually Connor Stalions.

          • LOL. Don't go down with that ship, Mike. You're too smart for that.

            • I'd like to know if there's a picture of him the next day in AA. This Sparty-CMU game was a Friday night. I've never seen a picture of Stalions with hair showing out the back of his hat. It's always clean shaven.

              • Why aren't you just citing Mgoblog twitter that says, "Yeah, that's Staions" and then "he snuck in, no one knew".

                I mean, that seems relevant.

This has already played out. M fans denied it was him then moved on to -- "see it proves he was a crazy lone wolf". Looking forward to that move from you in about 10 seconds.

                  • If it is him, it's just more evidence that points to a rogue actor. Normal people don't write 600 page manifestos on how they plan to take over their favorite sports team. Are we to believe that Harbaugh, Moore, and Minter got together with Stalions and thought this was a good idea? That's the new line of attack on Michigan? Fucking lunacy.

Because I don't take anything Brian Cook says at face value.

                            • This scheme requires seats between the 45's and near the bench. The most expensive seats in the house, generally. We know he bought tickets to at least 35 games, sometimes multiple tickets on both sides of the stadium, and had a small crew of guys doing the filming.

All paid for out of his own pocket on just 55k a year! Maybe he had a huge amount in his savings account after leaving the Army. Seems plausible!

                              • Michigan needs to find a booster willing to fall on a sword and "confess" that he and Stallions went rogue on their own and HARBAUGH!!!! is just a gullible dupe who thought Connor was just fabulous at stealing signs in real-time and then quickly printing out and laminating the entire team's playbook.
