The only thing left to do for M fans -- as I said -- is to say, "nah, it ain't that bad." That's the only defense.

So HARBAUGH!!!!! has 6 years of total failure. No conference titles, never betting Ohio State. 6 years. And his 6th year is actually saved by Covid because they were legit bad. He is on the verge of getting run out of town. Everyone in AA wants him gone and if an NFL team wanted him he would have been gone. He is even forced to take a humiliating paycut. He then institutes a massive effort to cheat -- to effectively limit his ability to miscoach games by knowing exactly what the other team is doing. And then, smug in his new operation, takes to calling a Coach who's dad committed suicide someone who was born on third base.
That's the M Way.
Such goddamn cheaters. So classless.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

HARBAUGH!!!!! is now left with 2 tainted wins against Ohio State in 8 seasons. In 6 of those seasons he was, apparently, not cheating. In 2 of those seasons he orchestrated a operation to illegally steal plays.
Time to cue up Wizard for some Soft Cell....Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

That picture isn't of the low level staffers -- it's of the cheat sheet of OSU signals that the low level staffer produced. I thought that was self-explanatory -- that's why I never said -- lemme reiterate -- never said that the Stalions was in that photo. So, I mean -- great point?
I only said "LOL"
But if you want pics of Stalions next to Harbaugh on the the coordinators, there's tons of them.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Let them punch themselves out, Mike. They've got nearly four years of frustrations to vent about, and they're not going to be content until they have nothing left.
I say embrace the cheating. Look what it did for OSU. They improved their coaching, recruiting, and it got them another NC. If Michigan can duplicate that, I'm all for it. Let the cheating soar.
All that matters is one more point on the scoreboard than the opponent. That's it. That's all it boils down to. Get the scoreboard. How you get there is not important. The end does justify the means. Just win, baby. That's me from now on. I gladly embrace it."in order to lead America you must love America"

These fools did nothing and they didn't even realize that they were getting rooked until a year later. How quickly they forget the ways of Tressel and Urban!

And kudos to JRB who is at least honest about the brazen cheating:
However, that doesn't mean there isn't something wrong. I don't know precisely what's happened, but I'm willing to offer this guess. Michigan football was broken at the end of the 2020 season. We all saw it. Many of us(myself included) called for a head coaching change, as we thought things couldn't improve under the current leadership. Jim Harbaugh had to hear that call. A coach that hadn't failed anywhere in his life was hearing the calls for his job from his fellow alumni, and he felt he had to make changes to save the program. I suspect-- and I think the available evidence and current allegations support this inference-- that Harbaugh decided to push against any constraints on his program as hard as he could. The old expression is, "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't trying." My guess is, Harbaugh decided it was worth it to try.
I don't want this to be true. I didn't want it to be true when Rich Rodriguez and his staff came into a tough situation and decided to bend the rules to gain whatever advantage they could find for a roster unsuited to their style of play. In retrospect, given how that ultimately played out, Michigan might have been better served cutting ties with Rodriguez immediately. You cut corners to find a way to win, and you will eventually have a mess to clean up. My guess is, at the end of this, whatever this Michigan team wins on the field, Jim Harbaugh is going to leave Michigan with a major mess.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
