As I alluded to, they're turning CFB into the NFL.

Yeah, that's the thing -- I really can't see CRD's Ohio State team not making the CFP at 12. Like -- it'd be a disaster. HARBAUGH!!!!, IMO, is probably in 75% of the time.
Ohio State and M could play back-to-back weeks and then saunter off to the CFP. Meh.
And, for that matter, I still think the B10 is going to 4 divisions at some point with a semifinal and final (more NFL-ish than ever).
The folks like us with more than 20 years invested in the game will be pissed. The people who grow up with this model won't know any better. Such is way of progress....or regress.

Yea the every other sport playoff argument will come in. Well, every other sport sucks compared to 20 years ago, too many teams and too many playoff spots. I still like the Red Wings but old-time hockey is gone. Maybe if the Pistons and Tigers were any good at all I might gain some interest there, still not like before though, I used to really like MLB and the NBA

They would consider Cal and Stanford to try and include the central California San Fran TV market.
I think it’s silly because while SanFran is the #10 TV market in the US there are only 7 people there who follow Cal sports and 9 who follow Stanford sports and that’s only if they aren’t preoccupied with watching hobos shit in the street and shoplift."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
