  • Not good, Boilers.
Perhaps the Illinois vs Purdue game will still determine the West division winner, but there goes the cushion. Long ways to go for the West division…

    • Bert has just won the West.

How the fuck did Bert lose to IU?

      • Next year's "revised" Big10 schedule is out. I'm not sure what's changed. Final year before USC & UCLA join.

OSU is @ Purdue, @ Wisconsin , and home against Minnesota.

        • Good lord, I think next year's schedule is worse than this year's! The home slate is abysmal.

Well, not so fast. East Carolina is not a bad program. They're better than any of the first three we played this year.

At Minnesota - they're going to want the jug back. They'll be paddling that canoe as hard as they can.

At MSU -- never a good time.

At PSU -- Franklin will pull some stupid crap for Harbaugh's "whining" comments. And it will be a white out night game.

Purdue reappears ... but its in A2.

              ---

Not sure why we don't have a return visit to Illinois.

I think from a competitive standpoint its better than this year's schedule.

              • Well, this year’s schedule is about as terrible as it can possibly get. So, yeah, ECU is better than any other OoC team they played this year. But, then again, so is Cass Tech.

                • Cass Tech isn't so good this year.

                  Maybe West Bloomfield or Belleville.

                  • I know CT wasn’t so good. My point still stands, however.

                    • A home conference slate of Rutgers, Indiana, Purdue, and OSU is about as bad as it can possibly get. Plus 3 OOC non-entities. Though agreed, ECU is better than the three duds you played this year.

Not thrilled OSU is playing Youngstown again.

                      • FWIW, I'm not opposed to toughening the schedule.

If I were king of the B1G, all teams would play 10 conference games and 2 OOC. And at least one of those OOC games would have to be home/home series with a P5 team.

But I never get my way.

                        • First look at who's bowl eligible is definitely surprising

                          BOWLING
                          Ohio State (7-0)
                          Michigan (7-0)
                          Penn State (6-1)
                          Illinois (6-1)
                          Maryland (6-2)

                          POSSIBLE
                          Purdue (5-3)
                          Minnesota (4-3)
                          Rutgers (4-3)

                            • Rutgers' chances are bad because all their winnable games (Minnesota, Maryland, MSU) are on the road. Michigan & Penn State are their only home games left.
