Wow, there are actually watchable games today. Pleasant surprise.
I just assumed there would only be division 2 or FCS crap that isn't interesting.

    - Nebraska @ Illinois. 1:20pm on FOX. Big 10, the big game today. BERT is the new HC for Illinois. BRANDON PETERS in year 6! Yes, Peters is still around...
Year 4 for Frosty Scotty at Nebraska. Pressure is on.

    - Hawaii @ UCLA. 3:30pm on ESPN.
Chip Kelly heading into a big year.
I've always found Hawaii to be one of the more watchable small programs in college football.

      Hi Rob!

I haven't seen Entropy for quite a while. IIRC, I think he posted something about taking a job somewhere that was going to take a lot of his time and he wouldn't be posting for a while. He was one of the originals. I miss him.

      • Howdy old buddy---Good to see you again here!

Entropy was definitely one of the good non-Meeechigan guys over the years, along with that pinhead buckeye Paul S. I lurk here a lot more than I post these days and haven't seen either of them here in quite a long time.

        • I speak to Paul S on Facebook every now and then. He's doing fine. Just as goofy as ever. He's my favorite buckeye. There's lots of guys from the old days I'd like to see in here again. Anyway... I see you still use the pic of the best Michigan QB ever. The 'guts and glue' ... I miss players like that.

          • Yes, I still miss Mark VII.

With Huskers, Old Scribe, Entropy, BG, and a few others.

Buckeyes? Regel Buck and Hack (that should bring him out).

            Goofers: Wildcat00.

            • Hi Rob, there will be a tailgate at Scio with Doug although it's going to be crimped somewhat. Doug's enthusiasm for college sports has ebbed with COVID contributing. Sean is leery of entering the stadium with unknown travelers from high viral prevalence areas, unknowingly sporting the virus. Even though it's an outdoor venue Delta's transmissibility even in that environment isn't fully known. So there's a risk of getting exposed, and bringing it back to his kids.

Even though he was vaxed in December concern over waning protection and Delta is legit. He may not enter the stadium. I'm less concerned but respect his view I'll be traveling to DTW on Thursday and will be at the first two games. I have the same concerns that Sean has - our shots received in February. It's hard to have confidence there's no threat to me getting constantly blasted by the media's negative COVID narrative some of it which is fact based.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • I’m apprehensive about going into the stadium to protect myself from the disease on the field.

                  • The first score of the year is a safety for Illinois on an illegal forward pass out of the endzone on a punt return. BIG TEN FOOTBALL!
