        • I turned off PSU/Purdue when it was 28-0. I tuned in later for the final score, expecting something in the 77-0 range. The final 44 minutes of that game must have been some of the most hard to watch football of all time.

          • Peters is either out injured or he got pulled. It's 10-16 at the half, Gophers.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • 3-3-1 in conference and 3-0 on specials. Brings me to 21-29-1 in B10 games and 11-5-2 in specials. Still below the poop-flinging monkey line.

Rutgers (-28) at Indiana. I think two things: (1) Indiana is better than Maryland; and (2) backing Rutgers in conference play requires way more than 28. Hoosiers to cruise to a big win.

                • I was also 3-3-1 in conference but 0-3 on specials. Puts me at 29-21-1 for the year but a crappy 5-11-2 on specials

                  • Rutgers. Jeez.

                    Maryland is trash, too.

                      • Coan is legit and so is Wisconsin. Chryst knows how to coach football in a way that most of us would like Harbaugh, in his 5th season at M, to coach.

And this isn't about running more power and less RPO/ZR. It's about putting the right players in the right spots in a system that you can teach players to execute not some dodgy hybrid that it's pretty clear based on the 3rd quarter shit-show we are now becoming used to that the players can't execute efficiently. It's the same system that the coaches appear not to trust the players to execute it either.

Part of that is on Patterson who is inconsistent yet consistently unable to make the plays M's O needs to extend a drive or rescue a series from well defended run plays on standard downs. But with 1 minute on the clock and three time-outs to end the half, and Harbaugh turtles probably becasue of that, we pretty much know all we need to know about why Cryst is a better coach then Harbaugh will ever be. That was a terrible call and shows how much he doesn't trust Gattis, the offense or the players that are playing in it. You witnessed the results of that turteling in the 3rd quarter.

                            • Well, you're going to find out whether paying for that beat-up used care I spoke of elsewhere in this forum was worth the money you paid for him. Like I said, I think Chryst is very good at doing things on offense that make it hard to get them off the field. He did it to Don Brown and made it look easy. Now he's doing it to Mike Tressel and again it looks easy.

He's got the tools, like you say, when Coan is on the Badgers may just be unbeatable. Last time I checked he was like 14/16 and Taylor was close to 100y probably because of Coan's passing. But, whatever. I can only watch with disgruntled eyes. I would enjoy Wisconsin going into the shoe and humbling osu a bit. It could happen.
