Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Entropy,
Good one. That post offended both me AND Talent. I appreciate economy.
And I hope Frost does well. I know it's hard for fans of tradional teams with a semi-decent history to suck so badly for so many years. I mean, c'mon, not even sniffing the top 25 in win% over the last 15 years? Reduced to an effete, clown show of failure and looking up to the win%'s of juggernauts like Missouri, Houston, and Navy? Man, that MUST be hard...
Anyway, cheers. Good post!"The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

The big question for UNL is whether Frosty can outwit Fitzgerald, Ferentz and Row the Boat to earn a shot a The Chryst Child. I tend to think players will follow coaches if they believe in them. Belief in Frosty should be at all-time high, at least on the offensive side of the ball. For kids that aren't attached to playing close to home, he's going to have a real chance. I expect him to upgrade the roster considerably. I also expect way better play. Tyjon Lindsay's nutcase recruiting decision just paid off! Defensively, well, that was a giant pile of dog vomit, so there's no quick cure there. The conference games they win will be with lots of points.
But, it can be done. Brohm at Purdue is a great example -- they went from utter laughingstock to semi-competitive in a year. Unlike Brohm, though, Frosty isn't short-term.
So, one would expect that UNL is pushing Wisky in a couple years. Of course, if they were in the East the best they could hope for is pushing HARBAUGH!!!! for 4th, but they aren't.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
