Oklahoma still has #11 Oklahoma St and #4 TCU twice. TCU's ranking would worsen if they lose to Oklahoma, but it would still be another top 15 win.
Remember, B12 has a conference title game this year.
Whereas Georgia, if they just lose to Alabama, they easily get it over 11-1 ND with no conference title game.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

I'm okay with a non-conference champ getting in - sometimes a conference has two of the best four teams in the country.
I would take Penn State, Ohio State, and Wisconsin over anyone in the Pac-12, and the ACC right now."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I think the BIG12 has a 1 loss participant this year. The win over OSU was a lift to the entire conference. It seems to me, nationally, the respect is up. That may also be a result of the ACC being down as well.Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

If that happened, and one of each of those two sets of teams were in, which two would you take?

Just to reiterate because AA deleted my very important post about the 2016 Big Ten East race. PSU won it fair and square with a 8-1 conference record. It was a two way tie for first with OSU, it was not a 3 way tie because Michigan was 7-2 with losses to Iowa and OSU. The antiquated rule that sent them to the Big Ten title game was the tiebreaker which was head to head competition, in which PSU prevailed.
If Michigan had beaten OSU, it would have been a two way tie between U of M and PSU with Michigan getting sent to the title game based on the same tie breaker
