Yes. First, do no harm. I felt it would take us handing them a short field if they were gonna win.

3-3 last week. There was probably one toss-up game in Minnesota-Purdue, and I came up snake eyes on that one as the Goofer conceded a long TD drive at the end of the game, drove back into scoring range only to throw a pick six. The rest were proper covers all the way. So, 26-27-1. Ewww.
Michigan (-6) at Indiana. Insanity is, perhaps, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Sign me up because, once again, I’m about to ride HARBAUGH!!!! and give the points. I do not think IU can move the ball much. So, let’s say they get their 13 or so against Don Brown. Can IU hold M to under 20? Well, of course. M’s offense is, at times, catastrophically bad. However, M’s strengths pay well into IU’s weaknesses. M’s OL will not get bossed at the LoS by IU’s feeble DL meaning M should be able to run the ball consistently. Now, whether they actually do that is another question. I’m betting HARBAUGH!!!! will fully embrace Tresselball and ride the running game and defense to at least a full TD win. M to cover (I think with some room to spare).
Rutgers (+2’) at Illinois. Someone alert all authorities. OSHA, EPA, FBI, JFS, UN, Red Cross, the Geneva Convention. EVERYONE. An unspeakable crime against living things is about to be committed. I suggest all hide in Amish country or otherwise disable all remote controls to avoid witnessing this remorselessly scathing indictment of our species. I will be drinking in the nearest backyard praying for salvation and/or another beer from the property owner. Illinois is the small picture pick; humanity’s nadir is the easy winner big picture tout.
Purdue (+17) at Wisconsin. B10 West Showdown? Just. No. Purdue was fortunate to win last week against the Goofer. Wisconsin dominated the 4th quarter to put away UNL. Wisconsin is a bit spotty at home as we’ve seen a Good Badger/Bad Badger routine develop. However, I really can’t see the Boiler slowing down Wisky’s offense too much, nor am I particularly enthused about the Boiler QB carousel of suck. M beat Purdue by 18. On the road. Badgers to cover and win huge.
Northwestern (-3) at Maryland. Maryland will see their 4th string QB injured. That’s a given. There was nothing about Maryland that I thought was good when I watched them last week. Nothing. So, I’ll roll the dice and say nFw wins by 10 and covers. Yes, I’m backing a team that lost by 31 to Duke on the road to win on the road.
Ohio State (-24’) at Nebraska. Ohio State’s last trip to Lincoln was going splendidly. Great tailgate. Avoided conversing with “Wild” Hoss too much. Braxton and Carlos Hyde were great. It was all so pleasant. Then it wasn’t. Then the Legend of Bausermann was born. Memorial Stadium can do funny things to teams. So, I still don’t trust the OSU offense. I absolutely don’t trust them in a hostile environment. So, I expect a fair amount of bumbling. Couple that with a team that should at least be able to score a fair amount of points, and the 24’ is just too big. I’ll back Riley and Team Husker to cover the huge number – in fact, when was the last time UNL was this big of a dog at home? Wow.
Michigan state (-4) at Minnesota. I’ve been backing the Goofer the last couple weeks with no success. And I like them again. Insanity^2. This seems like a perfect letdown game for Sparty and a total meat-grinder game. It could be that Lewerke makes enough plays to get Sparty the win, but I have a hard time seeing this one being anything other than something like 20-16. I’ll back Fleck to right the ship a bit and cover (and win outright).Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

I think the Goophers are a tough pick over Sparty but I'll be lighting candles at my football shrine for a MSU defeat in some sort of humiliating fashion.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Both Buchanan and The Wizard are correct. I expect OSU to win by about 10 and for UFM to fired on the spot.
Entropy's endorsement of The Wizard amounts to shameless bootlickery to advance himself up the ranks of Team Husker, perhaps even to the station of being Old Scribe's cabana boy.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
